FAQ's
Where are you based?
I'm based out of Lancaster, OH!

Why do you shoot 8 hours? Why not do 4 or 6 hour shoots?
From my wedding experience, 8 hours is the amount of time that makes the best film. It ensures that I get everything I need, and that you don't miss anything. Although for longer wedding schedules, it may be a good idea to purchase additional shooting hours so I don't miss any events. This can be done anytime before or during the wedding day!

What is a "full ceremony & reception video?"
A "full ceremony & reception video" is a stitched together video of every single clip I record from your ceremony/reception. This video is often quite long with little to no editing involved, designed for your viewing pleasure or to relive the raw experience of your wedding day!

Are you willing to travel?
Yes! However if your wedding is more than 2 hours away or outside of Ohio, I will likely charge you travel fees depending on the distance.

How long have you been shooting weddings?
Full disclosure, not long. I shot my first wedding in June 2023 but we all start somewhere! I've been making videos and films for 6+ years as a personal hobby, so I've been translating that experience to doing wedding video.

Will it just be you during my wedding day?
Yes, I'm a one man band! However, having more than one videographer can be helpful for larger weddings or if the bridal parties are split up. Since I can't be in two places, you might end up missing important parts of the day. It also greatly enhances your highlight film and cuts, allowing me to gather more angles and spots around the venue throughout the day. I offer a "second videographer" addon, with the option to have either a content creator or another filmmaker.

Will you be recording vows? If so, how?
For the ceremony I'll put a discrete little microphone on the officiant and sometimes the groom as a backup. The DJ, if you have one, may also provide me with a sound feed as a backup backup! Mic'ing the bride is just too much trouble. Gentleman's clothes work better. For toasts, the DJ also has a sound feed that I can tap into as well.

When can I expect my video?
At MOST expect delivery in 4 weeks. This depends on how busy I am and the package selected as well.
